The Frog Father E Liquid

I have some E Liquid here from a newly launched E Liquid line called The Frog Father, it's UK made using only the finest ingredients available. It's made by a company called Efinity Labs, which is a company setup by one of the directors of Magnificig Ltd. Due to an increased demand for UK made liquids, sorry America your liquids are great but we too are a patriotic nation and like to have our own available to choose from, Efinity Labs was born which in turn created The Frog Father brand. Magnificig are no strangers to the vaping game and have been about for a few years now selling imported liquids so I guess you could call it a natural progression, why only sell everyone else's when you can have your own as well. As we venture down the whole regulation route it's nice to see that this particular line of liquids are preempting the potential regulation requirements and can say that their nicotine meets AEMSA standards, this is a regulatory body that insures compliance and sustainability.
So apart from a fantastic looking logo, that instantly let's you know abouts it UK heritage. What else can I tell you? Well are they any good is probably a good place to go next............

The Rat

This is described as an addictive sour tasting cherry flavour, I tred it and I'm not sure addictive is the word I'd use. It's a great liquid don't get me wrong, it has a flavour that's very reminiscent of those sugary cherry flavoured jelly sweets. It does leave a somewhat sour taste in your mouth. Not in an unpleasant way, your not going to be left looking like your entering a gunning contest. But it certainly does have distinctive sour aftertaste just like the sweets I mentioned. Not sure how they do it, it's just sour enough to leave that sweet sour tang but not harsh enough to make you want to stop using it. It smells fantastic and I have to be honest I did rather like it. The cherry flavour lingers really nicely on the tongue and I did use this flavour quite a bit. Not an all day vape for me but the flavours came through really well on mesh and was great to use, it was quite moreish and made a great change after vaping the same liquid all day. If you like your sweet type flavours I'm sure you'll be more than happy with this one, it tastes exactly like you'd expect it too and really does fit it's description.

The Wife

This is described as a savoury cinnamon roll, which for me is exactly what it smells and tastes like. This is a continental hotel breakfast in an E Liquid form. I loved to use this one of a morning around breakfast time. A glass of Orange juice, a cup of coffee and this liquid and it just went so well together. The cinnamon is absolutely spot on, it's not too overpowering and doesn't detract from the rest of the accompanying flavours at all. It's a great, accurate cinnamon roll flavour that just tastes like you'd want it too. You get the pastry background flavour, the cinnamon isn't to hot like some others I've tried. The first time I tried this I was very pleasantly surprised, I expected it to be far to biased on the cinnamon side of things like others tended to be and I was completely proved wrong, this liquid was used every morning until the bottle was empty. Definitely one worth having if your a dessert type liquid fan.

The Mistress

This is described as a zesty Lemon cheesecake, the Lemon is as described to be fair. It's zesty, sharp and balanced quite nicely with a creamy biscuity base. It's a fantastic liquid to use after dinner. The Lemon just pops in this liquid, it lingers nicely on the tongue then as it fades it blends with the other flavours to leave a cheesecake taste that starts to make your mouth water. This was another of those liquids I used a lot, I found myself reaching for a mesh wicked dripper and this bottle most evenings around dinner time. It's a great liquid to use between courses too as a pallette cleanser,  who needs a sorbet when you can have a quick vape on something like this? The smell is great on this liquid, those around me were instantly able to tell me what it was supposed to be and those that tried it really liked it. This liquid was passed around so it didn't last all that long. Which is great really, there are so many lemon flavours that taste like your vaping away on industrial cleansers and smell like cleansers too. This one thankfully isn't one of those at all, it's definitely one worth having in your collection.

Godfather

This is described as a closely guarded secret recipe, it's only clue is it has a tint of menthol. This for me was my favourite of the line so far, the menthol kick is great. It doesn't dominate the flavour its just enough to leave that cool lingering effect on the tongue and compliment the other flavours brilliantly. I love a good menthol liquid, some are so strong it's all you can taste, others are a little wishy washy. This one just hits the spot. I don't want to give the game away completely on the other flavours in this liquid, you just need to try it. All I will say is it is reminiscent of a favourite of many people that's red in colour. The difference as far as I'm concerned is that I absolutely hated that red juice, mainly because I found it insipid and overly hyped and generally not very nice. This however isn't the same it's got a slight twist that for me makes it loads better. I did mention this to The Frog Father himself and I was told that although this is along the same lines as that red juice it definitely wasn't released to compete with it, but he was working on a liquid that was going to and that it would be his take on it and not a complete copy. I'm quite looking forward to it to be honest, I'm sure when it's released it will take that red juice out to the docks and give it a pair of concrete slippers.

Moe Green Special

This is described as Las Vegas on an energy drink.  This one I wasn't keen on at all, it's not for me. It instantly reminded me of that energy drink that it says gives you the ability to fly. Which is great if you like that particular flavour, it's really sweet and does taste as you'd expect it too. I'm just not a fan of the drink never mind a liquid that replicates that flavour. Those that had a whiff were instantly able to tell me what it was supposed to be and those that tried it liked it. But for me, I was quite happy when my friend stole it, she loved it and I was happy to let it go and be used rather than it sit there on my shelf. Just to clarify my letting it go is not to say it was a bad liquid. It tasted as it should, just like the drink does. It's just not for me.

Gangsters Paradise

This is described as a sweet and sour fruity based liquid. For me this is a little bit of a strange one. There were times when I picked this liquid up and really liked it, but there were other times that it just did nothing for me at all. It is one of those flavours that at times the fruity background flavours really came through and was really quite enjoyable, sort of  like eating skittles I suppose really. Then there were times where the sweet and the sour kind of cancelled each other out and I didn't really get a lot of the fruity flavours at all. I found that for the first little while of vaping this liquid I liked it a lot, but the more I vaped it the fruity flavours became less prominent and I had to switch to something else. I know that's not overly helpful, but I'm honest with all my opinions and that's the best I can describe it. This liquid for me is not an all day one at all, but for a change it really is quite nice.

Horses Head

This is described as the best blend of Blackcurrant you will find. All I can say on this one is, this is exactly how Chewits used to taste when I was little before they messed about with them and tried to jazz them up, back when they were good. From the very first vape I was instantly reminded of Blackcurrant Chewits and I loved it. The Blackcurrant flavour comes through straight away and lingers nicely on the tongue and I have to be honest it's a close second for me behind the Godfather flavour. I used this one a lot and it worked well for me as an all day liquid. If you remember how the Blackcurrant Chewit's used to taste and you liked them, then I'm sure you'll not be disappointed with this one.

Whack Juice

This is described as another secret recipe with a smooth undertone of aniseed. For me, this was a little bit of a let down. I got the subtle aniseed and not a lot else, I honestly couldn't pick out any of the other flavours at all. Which is a shame because it smells really, really good. Perhaps it's just me, I'd be interested to here from others who have tried this to hear their thoughts.

Bubble Gun

This is described as the best bubble gum flavour around. This reminded me again of another sweet I had as a child, back in the days of the bubble gum you used to get in a packet of trading cards. As bubble gum flavours go it's not bad, but I have to be honest I have had better ones. It instantly from the first vape reminded me of bubble gum, it tasted like bubble gum and smelled like bubble gum. I just think that perhaps the best bubble gum flavour isn't for me, how I'd describe it. I would definitely go as far to say it's a good bubble gum, but that is as far as I'd go.

To sum up, there were some I liked a lot, some a liked a little and some I wasn't keen on at all. The logo is fantastic I really like the artwork, the bottles all come with tamperproof seals and safety caps. These liquids are all available to buy for those that want from Magnificig and are priced at a very reasonable £3.49 for a 10ml bottle and at the moment there is a multi buy option of five 10ml bottles for £10.99 which if my maths are up to scratch works out to around £2.20 give or take per 10ml if you choose that option. You have the choice of 6,11 and 18mg nicotine strength and they have fixed price shipping of £1.99 if you buy one bottle and £2.99 if you choose the five bottle multi buy option. If you are reading this and would like to look into stocking this line then you can reach The Frog Father by dropping an email to info@efinitylabs.com. All that remains really is the question, would I give my own money to pay for liquids from The Frog Father? Yes I would, I would happily purchase more Godfather, The Wife and Horses Head. My absolute favourite of the ones I had was Godfather and would love to see that flavour available in larger bottle sizes. To be fair though using the multi buy option I could have 50ml of Godfather delivered for £13.98 which in my opinion is a cracking price. I did get these liquids sent to me free for the purpose of this review, it's not a completely glowing report but I have always given and will continue to give as honest an account of my opinions as possible.

Dripping With Flavour

As I've mentioned a few times I belong to many Facebook groups, since I've been Squonking I've joined as many groups relating to squonking as possible. On a few groups I kept seeing this one particular juice pictured all the time.  Curiosity got the better of me, all the posts I saw with A.P.C mentioned all seemed really positive. All these people couldn't all be biased or misleading could they?
So a bit of digging around revealed the name of the site where this and other liquids could be found. That site was Dripping With Flavour, I was very pleased to find another well regarded UK made liquid being mentioned a lot, nothing against US liquids,  the ones I've tried so far for the most part have been great. As a Brit though I have to favour UK made, it's just the right thing to do. Anyway back to it, I got some A.P.C through the door, let it steep a bit and gave it a go, here's what I thought.....

A.P.C

As I'm sure the astute amongst you will have guessed from looking at the picture, A.P.C is Apple Pie and Custard.  I really do like my custards and who doesn't like Apple Pie?  Together you get a traditional dessert flavour which doesn't disappoint. This juice is no exception, as I found out about this juice from a Squonking group it seemed only right to sample it on a Squonking setup. So in the Viper it went and if I'm honest, that's the only juice I've been Squonking with since it arrived. I absolutely love this stuff, I'm so glad I got some. On the inhale you get that sweet spiced Apple Pie and on the exhale that combines with a nice creamy custard which is great. This juice is available in 0,3, 6,12 and 18mg nicotine strengths. You get to choose between 60/40 and 30/70 PG/VG. You can choose from two bottle sizes, a 10ml which will set you back £4 and for £5 more you can get a 30ml bottle. This is where my issue lies, much bigger bottles are needed in my opinion, and I don't think I'm the only one that thinks that. There has been mention of whether or not people would like to see bigger bottles on the Dripping with Flavour Facebook page. Hopefully bigger bottles will arrive sooner rather than later. I'll let you in on a little secret, don't tell anyone but, after speaking with Joe from Dripping with Flavour,  he has hinted that it looks like it will happen. Which is great news as far as I'm concerned, this is right up there in my opinion as one of my favourite juices. I'll definitely be wanting more of this when I run out, my only dilemma is do I buy it now so it has chance to steep before my bottle dies or do I wait for my bottle to get low before I order. There really isn't much else I can tell you about this to be fair, other than its great go and get some for yourself, you'll not be disappointed.  I love it I'm sure you will too. So get some A.P.C and squonk away!!!

Bahama Mama

I got this liquid with the A.P.C, it smells great and it tastes great too. I wasn't so bothered about using a squonker with this one so it went in my Origen V2 with some fresh cotton. If any of you are familiar with Tropical Sparkle you'll love this, it's very similar with one slight difference. There's been some coconut added to the mix and it works so well. The tropical flavours hit you first, the mango and pineapple come through brilliantly then the coconut comes along complimenting the tropical flavour. I only wish 10ml lasted longer, I tend to vape this later on at night and it's good. I've been tempted a few times when the A.P.C ran out in my squonk bottle to try this in the squonker but for some reason it's not quite made it, not because of any particular reason other than because I can't be bothered to clean it all out to change the flavour. If I have any Bahama Mama left when I do I'll definitely be giving it a go. This is the same price as the A.P.C and comes in the same nicotine strengths, mix ratio's And bottle sizes. Again I'll definitely be ordering more of this flavour too, it's very good.

There are quite a few flavours available on the site and after trying these two I am very tempted to try some others. So enough reading, head over to Dripping with Flavour and get some A.P.C in your basket, whilst your at it you wouldn't go far wrong by adding some Bahama Mama to the basket too. Here's the site, have at it people!!!!!

eCigVapeHut

I have two liquids here, as a result of chatting with Lewis from eCigVapeHut. One is a Blueberry Yoghurt and the other is Pink Starburst. Before I get down to telling you what I think of these to liquids I'd like to tell you a little bit about eCigVapeHut. Everything that is on offer on the site is used by their own staff, how many vape shops have you been in, to have a question answered with "er not sure" or "don't know mate not tried that one"? I know I've been in plenty where I have a greater knowledge of the products on offer than the employees do. Which for me doesn't instill that much confidence. The liquids they sell are UK Lab tested for quality and content, which is great as there are plenty that don't do this. Also they aren't really expensive either, looking through the site the prices are pretty good. They have hardware on offer too, it's not going to be to everyone's taste, however what they have will appeal to most people. From those just starting out to those wanting something a little bit better. Go have a look, I'm sure you'll find something that takes your fancy. Right down to the liquids which I did get free for the purpose of review. I did get these two flavours in non retail bottles but from what I'm told, the ones you guys will get will be fully compliant child safe ones.

Blueberry Yoghurt

This flavour is from their premium range of liquids, which by looking at the site is available in 10ml bottles only at 6,12 and 18mg nicotine strengths, in a 50/50 PG/VG mix. Priced at £4 per bottle with no nasty chemicals or colourings. The question is, does it taste like Blueberry Yoghurt? A little confession from me before I answer that, I absolutely hate yoghurt. I can't and won't eat the stuff, I think it's mainly down to its consistency but none the less a yoghurt has not been consumed in many, many years. I however kept an open mind to give you guys who take the time to read the waffle that's comes from my keyboard a fair opinion. So back to it, does it taste like it's supposed too? I hate to admit it but it really does, I got the whiff of Blueberry Yoghurt from the bottle. I nice freshly wicked dripper certainly gave a great flavour actually. I instantly got a really nice Blueberry flavour (not a Blueberry type sweet flavour an actually Blueberry flavour) on the inhale with a very subtle creamy yoghurt flavour on the exhale. If I'm honest it was the yoghurt part of the flavour I was least looking forward to, however I actually quite liked it. It wasn't over bearing it was quite complimentary to the Blueberry and it just worked. To be fair I wouldn't vape this solidly all day everyday, but I'd certainly vape it regularly without any hesitation. Would I buy this with my own money? Honestly after trying it, yes I think I would. Would I have bought it without trying it first? No, but only because of the word Yoghurt in the title. Which wouldn't of been fair to the liquid because I'd of missed out purely down to my own preconceptions. I also put this into a tank with a mesh wick, this only improved the flavours I got from this liquid. (I would really recommend people use mesh wicks more. With perseverance and practice the end result is worth it.). It's quite versatile really I have had no issues with this liquid in any atomiser I've tried it in, and Ive tried it in a fair few, on regulated and mechanical devices. It's just one of those liquids that's worth having in your juice supply. Vapour production is really good, I got a nice throat hit from my 12mg version I had to test. I've even had others ask what it was after complimenting the smell, so rather than tell them I let them try it. After a few seconds everyone of them correctly told me what the flavour was purely from the taste alone. Which to me means the person who mixed it did a great job.

Pink Starburst

This liquid on the site is referred to Pink Candy, but is described as an opal fruit type flavour for those that remember when Starburst were called Opal Fruits. This much like the liquid above is a /50 PG/VG mix available in 6,12 and 18mg nicotine strengths. It is also available in 10ml bottles at a cost of £4 each. I'm quite a fan of Starburst to be fair and who doesn't like the pink ones? So to know this liquid was supposed to replicate that flavour, to me was great. The question as always though is, did it manage it? Yes and no, is my honest answer. It was better in some atomisers than others truth be told, I quite liked it actually. Which ever atomiser I tried I got that it was supposed to be pink starburst it just was better in some configurations than others. As I'm sure most of you reading this have come to realise, the flavour and vapour production are quite dependant on the atomiser and how it's built. For me, in a tank it was quite good and I really quite liked vaping away on this liquid. However on a dripper with a mesh wick it was far better. So knowing it's at its best in that configuration,  that's how I've vaped it since and as I say it's really quite a nice vape. My brother visited whilst I was tooting away so I asked him if he could tell me what the flavour was supposed to be. After a few toots he was instantly able to tell me it was opal fruits (Starburst if your under 20) so, did it taste as it was supposed to? Yes it did, it was just better in some atomisers than others. Would I buy this liquid with my own money? Yes I think so, again it wouldn't be something I would vape all day, it is quite sweet. But it's again a liquid I'm quite glad I can pick up and use for a bit for a while. As with the other flavour, I was more than happy with the throat hit and vapour production from this one too.

Overall would I recommend this company to others? Yes I certainly would, the choice of flavours is really not bad at a all, they are not overly expensive. I wouldn't say they were cheap, but I would say there stuff is very reasonable priced. The hardware they stock varies from your Ego, Evod type starter stuff and goes through to those that want a little bit more. For those that want you can get your Sub tanks ( I hear these are quite good, people seem to like them) with a K-Box (again supposed to be quite good) or if you prefer your Aspire stuff they have the Sub Ohm CF kits too. It also looks from their site that they will at some point cater for those that want to mix their own liquids. Currently the have empty bottles and syringes. To reward frequent purchases there is also a loyalty reward program in the form of Hut points which can be used (once enough have been accrued) to purchase the items you want. If nothing else, take a look at the site I think you'll quite like the selection available, as already mentioned there are a fair few flavours for you try. Whilst your buying your liquids, you can pick up a new tank at the same time. I've found nothing annoys me more than having to use different sites and incurring all those extra postage charges. So enough from me, thanks for reading. Have a look at the site here and give them I try, I'm sure you'll not be disappointed. Thankyou Lewis for sending these two flavours on for me to try.

Jimmy The Juice Man's Creme Brulee

I was contacted by David from Vape Club and was asked if I would like to have some juice from their fairly extensive menu to try out for review. Of course I said yes please and here we are, with the first of the four bottles I was sent. It's a name I'm sure pretty much anyone who has an Internet connection and vapes will of heard about. It's Jimmy The Juice Man and I have before me a bottle of Creme Brulee

Let's get down to what I think about this particular flavour, I started off with a tank full in a SQuape R with a nickel build on a DNA40 device. I sat there having a vape and do you know what? I just hated it. It's supposed to be Creme Brulee,  why can I only taste banana? Not nice banana at that if I'm honest. It didn't get any better with different temperature or wattage settings. In the interest of fairness and my thoughts that , so many people rave about this stuff, it can't be that bad. I tried a different angle, I put a kanthal build in a Kayfun V4, on a Phenom and gave that a blast. It was slightly more appealing but I still wasn't sold on this juice at all. My next move was to try it in a dripper, so a fresh build was put in the Derringer and I gave that a go, it was starting to get better.  I was actually beginning to
get some of the other flavours starting to show through now, I could now detect a bit of burnt sugar, a bit of the creamy goodness too. There still for me though, wasn't that wow about it. So along the same line of thought as before, I decided that if using a dripper helped. Would it get better if that dripper got smaller? Out came my Squonker with a tiny little No Fear atomiser on top, still using kanthal and some new Japanese cotton.  I filled the little squonk bottle and tried again.
Now I wasn't expecting much improvement but I've got to
say I'm liking this juice more and more each time I have a squonk. On the inhale I now get that creamy custard flavour come through so much better, with the accompanying banana which now doesn't overpower as it did before. Then on the exhale that creamy custard flavour starts to give way to  nice little hint of burnt sugar. What I didn't expect when I first tried this juice was the banana. Whenever I've been out at a restaurant and have chosen Creme Brulee as a dessert, it's never had banana in it. So I looked up the recipe and I was a little surprised to find how many variants of Creme Brulee there actually are. Typically you get Custard, flavoured with Vanilla, topped with caramalised or burnt sugar. Due to the sweetness of the dish you would normally only have a small serving.

Your most common recipe is this:-

Crème brûlée (/ˌkrɛm brˈl/French pronunciation: [kʁɛm bʁy.le]),[1] also known asburnt creamcrema catalana, or Trinity cream[2]is a dessert consisting of a rich custard base topped with a contrasting layer of hardcaramel. It is normally served at room temperature. The custard base is traditionally flavored with vanilla, but can also be flavored with a variety of other flavorings. (This is from Wikipedia)

This is the recipe I'm most used to, so I think I would like this flavour more if they dropped the banana and stuck with the vanilla as the main flavouring for the custard base.

Saying that though, the more I vape this with my squonking setup the more it's growing on me. I have tried it in a tank again and I still hate it, so for me it'll be a juice I use exclusively in a very tiny 14mm bottom fed dripper. The question is, when this bottle has gone will I be wanting any more of it? Yes I think I will, I'm sure it's only going to get better as it steeps. Who knows, in a few more weeks once it's matured some more I may even acquire a taste for this juice in a tan, if I do I'll let you know. This juice is available in 0,6,12 and 18mg strengths, it's a 50/50 PG/VG blend and will cost you £15.99 for 30ml. You get your usual child proof cap with dripping pipette and a nicely presented bottle, I have to say I really do like the brand logo quite a lot. Vape Club offer next day delivery if you order before 16:20 hrs and if your order exceeds £20 the postage is free, yes you read that right I did say free. To be fair with the selection Vape Club have on offer, spending £20 is going to be so easy. They have juice from all the big names, I'm sure you'll be spoilt for choice. I urge you to have a look on their page which is www.vape club.co.uk, I was personally amazed and really happy that a UK company has such a wide selection of premium juice available. American liquids are great, but it's the shipping costs and the weeks wait, even longer if customs want to check it over that just makes it really expensive and has always put me off In the past.  I did get this juice free for review,  but I will definitely be keeping Vape Club in my browser bookmarks and will, most certainly be visiting to make a purchase in the future.

***Update***

I have continued with my search to get the best from this particular liquid and have found,
that for me it works best with a Stainless Steel mesh wick. Using the same 14mm atomiser I switched the configuration to allow a central mesh wick, then using some 0.2mm Kanthal I was able to wrap a 1.1 ohm coil and Squonk away. The Mesh wick is quite highly regarded as one of the best, if not the best wicking material to provide the best flavour possible. In this case and with this particular juice, I have found it to be completely accurate. The thing to bear in mind with a Mesh wick build is that it needs to be properly oxidised before use and just as importantly,  it wicks very well but will not absorb liquid like cotton or silica etc. wick will. That is why you will see cotton in the bottom of the atomiser. It's there solely to catch excess fluid. This will stop excess fluid congregating at the air hole of the atomiser which will cause it to gurgle. If you have a central wick compatible atomiser I strongly advise you give it a try, it works really well. There are video tutorials about on YouTube should you want or need some help.

*  What is written above are my personal thoughts and opinions only, everyone's tastes are different and because I have liked or disliked a particular liquid shouldn't and doesn't mean you will too. Please take my opinion as it was intended, not as a reason to purchase or avoid, but rather to help you make your own decision based on your own research, budget and requirements.

V2 Platinum E-Liquid

I was contacted recently by Steve from Pure E-Liquids, he offered to send me liquids from his Platinum collection to try. These liquids are PG heavy in make up so if you can't vape PG heavy liquids due to allergies then these will not be for you. However you will not be left out as their ECOpure is 100% VG so you can still purchase liquid from the site should you wish. As I'm sure most of you will be aware PG heavy liquids are not going to give you massive clouds of vapour, this for me isn't really an issue. I like a few things from my liquids, I don't want to be ripped off, I want it to taste as it's supposed to and i want good customer service from the vendor. They are my main considerations when buying liquids. There's nothing worse than spending your hard earned on a liquid to find it doesn't even resemble the flavour it's supposed too. Right enough waffling here's my thoughts and take on these liquids.....

Green Tea Menthol

I really like a good menthol and I like tea, alot truth be told. I've never had a liquid that combines the two before though, I've never been tempted to try a liquid with a Green Tea flavour at all. If I were looking through a flavour menu and saw it listed I wouldn't have chosen a flavour with Tea in it, now though I would definitely be tempted to give it a go. So I opened the box, and filled the tank and had a vape. It's good, the menthol is not overpowering at all and the green tea compliments it really well. This liquid is actually really good I've used this in a fair few tanks so far and it just works so well. The two flavour components are easily distinguishable and it smells just like you'd expect Green Tea and Menthol to smell. This is one of those liquids that everyone should have in their collection, I've found menthols to be either really over bearing or even weak and somewhat flavourless. This one for me is just right, I've found myself returning to this flavour most evenings, I've found it to be very refreshing.

Grape

This is another flavour I wouldn't ordinarily have chosen, I'm not going to lie this is definitely not a true grape flavour in my opinion. It's more a grape juice type flavour, it's quite sweet but not sickly so. It smells good and I have to say it's another I quite liked, I had people around me after asking what the smell was give it a toot and it certainly seemed to be the general consensus that it was a good grape juice type flavour and all but a few loved the sweet lingering smell it gave off. My daughter even mentioned it reminded her of a grape scented bouncing ball she had from a school fayre a few years back. I even quite liked using this one in a dripper, I know what your thinking. Why would you put it in a dripper when your going to get so little vapour production? I'll tell you, a mesh slug in a dripper really brings out the flavour in any liquid. Flavour is far more important than clouds for me so it didn't bother me at all and bring out the flavour it did. If you've not tried it before, give it a go you'll not be disappointed.

Vanilla

Now this one is a strange one, for me it did taste like Vanilla. However I think Vanilla as a flavour is far better suited to being mated with another flavour. If you like Vanilla as a single flavour, then I'm fairly confident you'll like this one. Now is this down to me only having liquids where the Vanilla is not the main flavour? Possibly, I have tried this liquid with different configurations, ( different resistance coils and different wicking materials) it doesn't get any better or worse. It still tastes like Vanilla, it just doesn't do anything for me at all. I may try adding this liquid to another flavour and see how it goes. There really isn't much else I can think to say on this flavour so I'll leave it there.

Cherry

This one I had quite high hopes for, I do like cherry flavour liquids. I opened the bottle and gave it a sniff and I have to say I instantly got a whiff of cherry. When I gave it a vape though it was a little different. I wouldn't say I didn't like it, I would say I was a little disappointed that it didn't taste as it smelled. It tasted more like a cherry sweet than an actual cherry. Am I being unrealistic? Is an actual cherry flavour achievable?  All the ones I've tried end up tasting like those gummy cherry sweets, this isn't the end of the world by any means I quite like them. This liquid for me is a good representation of a cherry sweet, in that it tastes just like the gummy sweets I mentioned. I liked it quite a bit, I just hoped it was going to taste more like a proper cherry.

Coffee

This one I really, really liked. It's a toss up between this one and the Green Tea one for my favourite of the lot. It's not an overly bitter coffee flavour, it's quite smooth. At first it reminded me of the coffee ones in a bag of Revels only without the chocolate outer coating. But the more I vaped this one, the more the coffee flavour won me over. I found myself wanting to eat Biscotti whilst vaping it. I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I appreciate good coffee and I was more than happy to vape this flavour on and off throughout the day. The smell from the bottle is just the same as the smell you get from well known coffee shops when you walk through the door. I really didn't expect to like this one as much as I did, I wouldn't go as far to say it shocked me but I was pleasantly surprised.  If you like your coffee flavours then I would certainly suggest you give this one a go. I am tempted to perhaps add a dash of the vanilla to this liquid to see if it works, Vanilla and coffee go fairly well together so it might work out just fine.

Something that Pure E-Liquids do that not all companies do is, they are very open about their ingredients and the fact that they lab test every batch of liquid they make.  If you decide to purchase liquid from them, you can go here where you will be asked for the batch number information from your bottle. Once you have done so, you will have instant access to the lab report for your batch numbered bottle to look up and check on.  Here's an excerpt from one such batch test.

All the bottles have Child Safety Caps as we have now come to expect, these little bottles remind me of the bottles you see at the posh cosmetics counters in big department stores. I like them a lot, they each have a dropper affair built into the cap which make it nice and easy to fill your tanks. Now comes one of the most important bits, the cost. How much is this liquid going to set you back? It'll cost you £13.45 for a 25 ml bottle. This equates to a £5.38 for 10ml, as a bonus at the time of publishing this, the liquids are on sale at £12.99 so you'll save a little if your quick. All things considered, with the cost of the batch testing (can't imagine that's cheap), the nice child safe posh looking bottles, the speedy dispatch times. I don't think this liquid is expensive at all, I've paid over a fiver for liquids before and they were absolutly terrible. I did get these free for the purpose of review, however I wouldn't have an issue with parting with my own money for the Green Tea Menthol,  the Grape or the Coffee liquids. If your not too sure you could always dip your toe in so to speak with a sampler pack, these have three 10ml bottles for £19.99. These are also on sale at the moment for £18.99, saving you £1. Shipping will cost you £3 for tracked mail unless your spend exceeds £60 then it's free. You can also buy devices to vape the liquids with from them aswell should you want, good for a beginner looking for a one stop shop aswell as someone looking at maybe upgrading what they have already or wanting a second device. If you do nothing else, have a browse through the site. If you think liquids from this company are for you, give them a try I'm sure you won't be disappointed. You can find the site here  www.pure-eliquids.com. They claim to have the best E-liquids available, It's for you to judge give them a go.

Digbys Mum's Custard

I spend a fair bit of time on varying Facebook pages, and there is a constantly asked question. To be honest, for a good long while every time I saw this question asked I wondered why anyone would want to know the answer. The question always seems to be "what's the best custard?". I know there are countless different flavours and variations of ratio's etc but custard? Anyway the more I saw this question asked the more it got me thinking, if so many people are asking about custard flavour liquids then they must be good, but is there a best custard flavour?
Theres only one way to find out, so I got some from from one of the most mentioned brands and gave it a go. The one I went for was Mum's Custard from Digbys. I got a 50/50 blend in 11mg strength. With a name like Mum's Custard, who wouldnt want to try it? It brings to mind family dinners and Mum's cooking. The question is though, is it any good? Well I'm going to go out on a limb and say I was suitably impresssd, I really didn't expect to like a custard liquid at all. I don't like to eat cold custard and would only usually eat it hot, poured over my dessert. Right let me tell you about this liquid, it arrived really quickly and came well packaged. On it's arrival I had a whiff of the bottle and it was pretty damn good. A lot of custard liquids come with advice from the vendor to let you know about steeping the liquid in order to get the best flavour from it. This varies between days and weeks and you'll notice the colour of the liquid darken as it does. Its normal and is supposed to happen so don't worry if you get a custard and it's light in colour and after a few weeks it's really dark. This custard is different in that it is batch steeped for four weeks before bottling, this means that when you get it and take that first whiff you wont have to put it away, you'll be able to get that sweet smelling liquid straight in your preferred atomiser and have a vape. This for me was great as I really didn't want to wait to try this liquid out, so in my squonker it went with a single 1.3 ohm coil and I vaped away. This liquid is fantastic, you instantly get the vanilla followed by a smooth milky sweet custard thats really hard to put down. I absolutly love this stuff, the 30ml I had tasted great from start to finish. I can really see why so many people rave about custard liquids. It's just a shame I didn't go for a much bigger bottle, in the blink of an eye it was gone. I need to get more of this, I would urge any of you reading this to give it a try if you haven't already. Seriously payday can not come soon enough.
Is this the best custard out there? Well it's a little to early for me to say, but I can say this, it's going to take some beating. I think I'm going to enjoy finding out which of the custards out there rates for me as being the best, I'll let you know what I think after I've tried some others.
There are two variants of this liquid, you have a 50/50 blend available in 6, 11 and 18mg strengths with the choice of 10, 30, 50 and 100ml bottles (you can choose glass or plastic bottles). If however 50/50 blends aren't your thing and you prefer a vg heavy option then they have you covered, they have a second version in an 80/20 blend available in 6 and 11mg strength with the choice of 10, 30 and 50ml bottles (again with the option of glass and plastic bottles). This flavour will cost you between £4.99 and £46.99 depending on your bottle type and amount of liquid you choose, I can see a 100ml bottle being ordered in the very near future. It's pricey if you compare this liquid to the plethora of other liquid brands out there but you know what, after trying this liquid I get why it's the price it is and for me it's well worth it. You can pick this liquid up in some shops too, there's a list of authorised sellers on the site here
